Varlee Sarnor Goes To Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS)

Liberian Chief Executive, President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has reconstituted the Board of Directors of the Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS).

 

The reconstituted Board is chaired by Information Minister, Dr. Laurence Bropleh. Its members include the ministers of Finance, Justice and Planning.

 

An Executive Mansion release named Reverend A. Moses Roulhac Jr., Mrs. Fannie Cole Weefer; Ms. Wessie Dennis, Mr. David Daniels and Mr. Varlee Sarnor as members of the reconstituted Board of the Liberia Broadcasting System.

 

Mr. Sarnor comes with enormous experience in the running of the government run public broadcasting system. He worked with LBS for nearly a decade.

 

During his tenure at LBS, he was assigned to the Executive Mansion as an Executive producer with the rank of a Director to cover the President. He also served as assistant minister at the Ministry of State for Presidential affairs.

 

Prior to his appointment to the LBS Board, Hon. Sarnor has been a private businessman. He established the “Liberian Enterprises” and he is also President and owner of the Merit International car dealership in Monrovia.
